Definition

The FinCrime Screening Engine is the workflow surface IOF owns even when external providers (ComplyAdvantage, Refinitiv World-Check, Sumsub) run the actual sanctions / PEP / adverse-media matching. It owns the screening case workflow (open → triage → decide → close), alert lifecycle (raised → assigned → escalated → resolved), decision trail (immutable), evidence export (FATF / EU 6AMLD / per-jurisdiction templates), override approvals (4-eyes), false-positive resolution with feedback to the upstream provider, and SAR / STR submission cross-reference via the regulator-liaison engine. Status: scaffold; Phase 2 implementation pending.
